Helena Solodar, AuD

Dr. Helena Solodar is the owner and president of HS Solodar Consulting, specializing in practice and business management, and marketing. She dedicated her entire audiology career of 43 years to her own private practice with six office locations, 13 audiologists, and eight audiology assistants. Her private practice was sold in 2016 and she retired from clinical practice in 2018.

Throughout her career, Dr. Solodar has been very involved in her state, regional, and national associations serving on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Audiology, as AAA Annual Conference Program Chair, the Academy’s 20^th anniversary chair, and most recently as Chair of the AAA Foundation.

Dr. Solodar has co-authored several articles and book chapters, has participated in numerous research projects in conjunction with other research audiologists across the country, and has lectured on topics including amplification, outcome measures, and managing/marketing your practice.
