Dr. Jillian Giangaspro earned her doctorate of audiology at the University of Connecticut in 2012.  She completed her externship at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she worked as a pediatric audiologist for 10 years.  She recently transitioned into an educational audiology position within the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System.  In this role, she serves on the pre-school intake team, performs hearing screenings and diagnostic hearing evaluations for students within the special education program, as well as for those in the general education program, and serves students with documented hearing loss, in their school settings.   She has a special interest in central auditory processing disorders and conducts these evaluations for students, as well.  Dr. Giangaspro has also served on the North Carolina EHDI board for seven years.
