Kathryn (Kitty) Werner, MPA

As the vice president of public affairs since 2016, I have a diverse range of responsibilities that include oversight of the Academy’s advocacy efforts, certification, and financial administration. I also serve as the executive director of the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE). I greatly enjoy the opportunity to support the work of volunteer leaders across the Academy enterprise, as well as to work with exemplary colleagues on staff.

Prior to assuming my position with the Academy, I held staff leadership roles in other health-care focused professional organizations. I have 25-plus years of experience in all facets of association management.
