Samantha Kleindienst Robler, AuD, PhD

Samantha Kleindienst Robler, AuD, PhD, is a clinical and research audiologist who has recently joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) as an assistant professor and associate director of the new UAMS Center for Hearing Health Equity. She also works part time in population health and clinical informatics for Norton Sound Health Corporation, where she leads the advancement of telemedicine utilization in audiology and across the hospital in Nome, Alaska.

As a national expert in telehealth, Dr. Robler is known for developing innovative solutions to expand access to hearing health care. She focuses on new and expanded applications of telehealth technology, as well as improving hearing healthcare delivery through policy change and is an investigator on several large clinical trials. Dr. Robler publishes in the area of telemedicine and access to hearing health care, lectures at the graduate level, as well as presents nationally and internationally.

In addition to her clinical and research work, she currently serves as a member on the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Political Action Committee (PAC) Board. She is a reviewer for the Technology and Telepractice Committee for ASHA Convention, and is also a reviewer for several journals, including ASHA Perspectives, American Journal of Audiology, Otology and Neurotology, and International Journal of Pediatric Otolaryngology.
