“Coffee Talk” Roundtable Discussions

What is keeping YOU up at night? One of the most effective ways to solve problems, learn, and innovate is by sharing best practices with colleagues and peers. Coming together (over coffee of course!) to network and work through challenges is a unique opportunity you can’t afford to miss. Each table of 10 will focus on a specific topic with an expert facilitator leading the team discussion.

After brief introductions, your facilitator will ask participants what their specific problem is under the theme of the assigned table topic and other attendees at the table can offer relevant feedback and ideas based on experience.

This “coffee talk” format will put you in the driver’s seat so you walk away with key nuggets to stay up-to-date and help move the needle on challenges you are facing. You’ll not only cultivate new strategies, but you’ll expand your portfolio of contacts.

CEUs are not offered for this session. Table topics and facilitators to be announced.

The Academy Gives Back

Located Near Registration Area

The Academy is partnering with Letters Against Isolation to make connections with isolated seniors. Studies show an association with hearing loss and depression in older adults. This creates social isolation and loneliness and we can help fight this one letter at a time! This is a well-documented issue and has effects not only on a seniors’ mental health but on their physical health. Through handwritten messages of love, hope, and joy, we can help bring seniors connections and improve their mental and physical health.

Stop by our location near registration anytime during the conference to write a quick cheery note or draw a picture. Our goal is 200 letters so feel free to write more than one!
