JAAA: New Content Now Available

  • Academy News

The Academy would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been working diligently with Thieme, the publisher of The Journal of the American Academy of Audiology, to publish relevant, scholarly, peer-reviewed content in a timely manner.

The last two years have been difficult for many of us as we manage our businesses, practices, academic and research settings, and more. Like you, we are working to find our way back to a consistent, new “normal.” For the journal, this means we are committed to getting the publication back on track and on schedule, despite the many challenges in the current world situation.

We recently published JAAA issues 33.1 (January 2022), 33.2 (February 2022) and 33.3 (March 2022) on the Academy website, with members-only access, and will publish issues 33.4 (April 2022) and 33.5 (May 2022) on the site in the next few weeks.

These JAAA 2022 “temporary” issues will be available to members on audiology.org for a limited time. Thieme, the publisher of the journal, will be uploading the official versions of these issues to the Thieme JAAA portal soon.

You are very important to the Academy and it is our priority to provide you with a pleasant membership experience and timely member benefits, including JAAA.

As we continue to navigate the publication challenges around the world, we are dedicated to finding ways to get you content, information, and resources to keep you up to date on the latest research and clinical best practices in the audiology field.

Thank you again for your continued patience and support. If you have any questions on JAAA, archived issues, and more, please do not hesitate to contact us.
