Diversity is not something that happens of its own accord, it takes personal work as well as institutional work, which cannot be accomplished without support from leadership. As part of the Academy’s overarching goals for 2022 and beyond, we have made it a priority to address belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the evolving audiology profession.
To really jumpstart the conversation surrounding these efforts, several sessions, forums, and presentations at AAA 2022+HearTECH Expo will explore this topic. We encourage all our attendees to take advantage of these opportunities to engage with the diversification and inclusivity of our community.
